THE black dress

I am eternally thankful to all those amazing bloggers out there who make it easier to be extremely up-to-date on fashion matters and who contribute with new ideas and points of view I could never come up with.
That said, I will only use this post to draw everyone's attention to one of the simplest yet most beautiful black gowns and demonstration of fashion vision I have laid my eyes on in a very long time. Bottega Veneta (F/W09) is responsible for it.

Instructions:
1. Behold
2. Do not blink
3. Be amazed

I'm off.

PS. Coco, thanks for today's post.

Amazing, and yet so dependent on the anatomy of a swan. We need only to see the laddette stuffed into her too tight prom dress, the Chav in her tube top...ack, what an ugly picture.

This dress is a model of classicism; consider how simply it draws the eye upwards and showcases the delicacy of the (ideal)female frame.

Oh just beautiful, I love it. I enjoyed your colonial post below very much. Meryl Streep is one of my favourite actresses and I loved the clothes in that movie. White Mischief is another similar colonial film set in Kenya with great clothes. Although the colonial colours are very muted the colours of African fashion on the actual continent are gorgeously bright. I think I will put together a little something on my blog for you :)

Always classic, always timeless. Who can go wrong with a simple black dress.

Love it! It's just too beautiful. I love fashion, but the place where I leave doesn't give me the opportunity to dress as I wish. Anyway, I'm planning to move and study something due to Fashion although I have my dudes.
You blog is amazing. I'm in love with it!
