Evidently Burberry, my dear Watson

It's nothing silly when people say your best accessory is a good haircut. I realised how much Rihanna's hair had changed her style (now lost with those dreadful extensions) and it has had a similar effect on Emma Watson. The penultimate Harry Potter film is coming out this week and the cast has started their world tour of red carpets and tv appearances. Emma Watson is the only female protagonist of the saga and she is taking advantage of it. Her recent hair style makeover added the perfect touch of sophistication to the stunning Rafael Lopez dress she wore to the London premiere and the Calvin Klein Collection number she donned in New York. It even looked great in the more unsuccessful Vionnet velvet dress she also wore in London. But my favourite outfits have been the ones she's worn at the airport and on her way to the various American tv talk shows.

We have to remember she's also this season's image for Burberry, which makes the garment guessing even easier. I love the fact that even though she now lives in the States and goes to Brown she's showing the world what people mean by "British cool". She has been carrying Burberry's studded Knight bag (a classic since then) and even paired it with the studded trench coat from SS11 (a great classic meets edgy look for her). But the best look of all, to me, is the one with my favourite trench from the Burberry Prorsum SS11 show —the leather sleeved one. And I also quite like the fact that the "glossy" poppy doubles as an accessory. Are you a fan of Emma's current style?
