Hypocrisy is as old as universe. And so is stupidity.
Pasarela Cibeles (Madrid Fashion Week) starts tomorrow and I couldn't help writing one more post about it before premiering the first of my series of collections reviews tomorrow.
Well, I'm really irritated. Weighting models and discrediting other shows (specially NYC, my love) is apparently the only way Madrid finds to have some publicity... So I added yet another hyphen to my list of lame spanish stuff.
I am absolutely against anorexia but, seriously girls, get a grip! We know those kind of girls are not real, so don't worry, you look wonderful!
And who said skinny was banned?! C'mon! If skinny is not allowed on the runway, then WHAT? Fashion —particularly Haute Couture— is about imagination. It is ART. I haven't heard about a bunch of folks cutting their ears off because they saw that Van Gogh portrait. Or eating their children after taking a look at Goya's "Mercury eating his child". Again, get a grip! All of you who blame media, movies and any other format. Let me just spell this for you, cause it will be of great help: P-S-Y-C-H-I-A-T-R-I-S-T. Let me know if that works.
Don't blame me for this. I needed it. Oh and, for the record, I'm not superficial. I am one of those who don't follow the rules and don't live being politically correct. I don't want to look nice or good, I want to look ME, even if that entails appearing mean or unthoughtful.

Psychiatrist or Psychologist... thank you! that will give me some job in the future :). Honestly, as a girl/woman i understand how these girls mind work, and even when people tell them they look great, most of the time they don't believe it. It's not that girls are trying to get people's attention (some of them), but unconsciously they have pictured that looking like the girls in the runway is being perfect. These girls that follow this type of patterns are seeing the big picture, not really if a girls is skinny. Don't get me wrong, but... no por *nada* estan haciendo todo esto. I don't think that girls have analyzed completely why they decide to undergo through unnecessary stuff in order to be like the girls in the runway. They can't because they're obsession has become another and not necessarily to understand their behavior. Sorry if i went off topic, but i felt motivated on maybe give you some insight on what may be a life like that. You can try to understand what goes on with our lives, but you will never know it because you're a man, and the same for girls, we won't ever know even if we try.
