Yesterday evening Roger Vivier held a beautiful tea party at their Sloane Street store to celebrate the launch of their new 'Jeune Fille' collection. The collection is the first form the brand for young children. Well, not for young children but for stylish young girls.
The new 'mini-Gommette' ballerinas are based on the original 'Gommette' ones made for grown ups. They are perfect for children because they have a rubber sole and their patent leather is soft and will withstand anything! Their ankle strap is perfect to make sure no shoe goes astray but these can also be removed for a more city chic look. They come in perfect hues for the summer – Indian pink, cobalt blue, poppy red, black and snow white.
The RV store was filled with balloons and all sorts of sweets and a line of huge lollipops and little windmills welcomed everyone to the store.
The shoes are available from March exclusively at Roger Vivier boutiques worldwide!

Skylar, like, totally shuts it down
ZOeMissoniPram
[Rachel Zoe, Bugaboo]
I remember I first read about the Missoni collaboration with pram company Bugaboo. I thought it was a genius idea to have the iconic Missoni zigzag pattern on blankets and canopies because they're, apart from very stylish, super fun.
Also then I considered making a post about how this pram was so perfect for Rachel Zoe and her new baby boy Skyler Morrison. I discarded the idea because I felt like Rachel would actually never get it. After all, it came out months after Skyler was born.

Well, I should have followed my first instinct because who posted a picture today pushing the designer stroller? Yes, bananas! Nothing goes better with her mainly black ensemble, Proenza bag, crazy flared jeans and panama hat. And it matches her bed spread too.

(mini)Aguilera is cool

Changes! As you might have noticed soVIPzone's layout has changed a little today. We felt like the blog would be more exciting if we had a bigger space for images (now that I can sort of use photoshop...) and, after some HTML retouching, voilà!
Also, I decided to give kidswear a try. It isn't very likely that you'll be seeing it often around here but it is refreshing to do something different once in a while. Last night when I saw those pictures of Christina Aguilera's son, Max, I was surprised by how cool he looked. Let's face it, he doesn't have the best beauty and style genes... But Max looks awesome in his paint splattered tee, ripped jeans and red converse. So I started wondering what kind of stuff designers were making for children. There is plenty to choose from, whether it's Marc Jacobs, Phillip Lim, D&G, Armani or Moschino. And they're all bang on trend.
