Right, so I am not going to try and convince anyone of it but this is the kind of moments that make red carpet events worth it for me. Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling hit the Cannes festival this morning promoting their new film "Blue Valentine". I have been a pretty big fan of the two for a very long time —ever since 'Dawson's Creek' with her and 'The Young Hercules' with him. I was in awe of Michelle's new platinum blonde hair-do when I first saw it and Gosling is so cool he really can do no wrong (check out his airport look on the left). When they come together even fashion seems unimportant, so I don't care much for 'who' she was wearing.

I tried to find the trailer but it seems it hasn't been released yet even though the film is out this year and it was shown previously at Sundance. Instead, have a look at this clip from the film. there seems to be great chemistry between them so I can't wait to see what the film is like. In the meantime, don't miss Gosling's 'Half Nelson' or 'Murder by Numbers', two really good movies.
