Cheryl Cole loves leopard print: Here's some other pieces she should wear
JustJared
Cheryl Cole isn't necessarily a celebrity you would go to for inspiration trying to get dressed in the morning. She also doesn't seem to be trying too hard to get away from her (ex)WAG status or style, which can sometimes be kind of interesting(?).
This past week she has made some good choices while visiting the city of light – apart, perhaps, from the Phillip Lim jumpsuit look that she ruined with a pair of trainers. She seems to be totally into leopard print at the moment, which can be tricky to work with. However, I loved her in the A.P.C. sweatshirt. It gave a casual touch to the look paired with jeans and nude stilettos. but my favourite has got to be the Ksubi dress, which actually looks great with the Charlotte Olympia heels, very slick and contemporary.
And so I decided to find out what the offer of leopard print was for this summer and chose my favourite pieces, some of which would actually look great together such if combined with neutral and nude colours.

Are you a fan of leopard print? What do you think of Cheryl's looks?

Get the Look- Kristen Stewart’s airport chic

London's weather has got a bit gloomier (yet again) and I feel like it's the perfect time to get some inspiration from Kristen Stewart. I am a much bigger fun of her looks off the red carpet.
Kristen wore this ensemble to the right when she arrived into JFK airport yesterday. She paired a skinny pair of grey jeans (similar to the Victoria Beckham ones I chose) with a loose grey tee (like this one from J. Crew). She added two of her favourite statement, if subtle, accessories – the Balenciaga motorcycle jacket she has in several colours and she's been wearing everywhere and the super chic Burberry leather bowling bag from the FW12 collection.
I love Kristen in looks like this one because she looks so comfortable and at ease – unlike on the red carpet – and, hence, über cool. Plus, I love a woman who doesn't need a pair of high heels and a cocktails dress to look sexy.

What do you think?

What Stephanie LaCava wore – LFW Day 2

What Stephanie LaCava wore – LFW Day 2

Last night I attended the (amazing!) Acne show at the end of the day, which I will be posting about soon. And once again I was lucky enough to run into Stephanie LaCava. You should have seen the crowd, running into someone you knew wasn't that easy. So I was very lucky!
Stephanie was looking über cool in a really chunky cropped knit jumper from Balenciaga, which she paired with a plain J. Crew white tee and these sexy leather Bottega Veneta trousers. But, for me, the key of the outfit were the accessories – one of Burberry Prorsum's SS12 raffia hats from the menswear collection and, my favourite, a pair of Aquazzura pumps. If you look closely enough you'll see that the stunning leather stilettos have a thin golden chain that wraps around the ankle twice.

Today I'm attending Antonio Berardi and Burberry Prorsum – So excited! So make sure to keep checking back for updates!

J. Crew FW12- Jenna Lyons as her own Muse

I am absolutely in love with the latest J. Crew collection that was shown in New York a couple of days ago. It's incredible how Jenna Lyons continues to push the envelope at the high-street giant. The printed cropped tailored trousers are my favourite pieces. I love how they look with a cozy cashmere jumper and a pair of bright stilettos. All of which seem to have been inspired by Lyons' own style. It's impossible not to see similarities between what she has been wearing to the shows in NYC and the FW12 J. Crew line. Even the model casting and styling seems to have been inspired by her looks – i.e. geeky glass frames, statement shoes.
I absolutely die for Jenna Lyons' personal style. There seems to be a new generation of creative directors that are incredibly good at their job and whose personal style lives up to their collections' standards. Just like the Olsens or Victoria Beckham, Lyons experiments with her personal wardrobe and continues to buy other designers collections – Proenza Schouler, Céline, Altuzarra – despite her allegiance to J. Crew. She's got a super unique aesthetic that marries classic American sportswear with the more refined and fashion-forward cuts and trends of the Parisian catwalks. A marriage that reflects on her work season after season.

Yes, I am throughly enjoying all of Vogue's CFDA Fund videos. I love how they're put together and it's so nice to see how all the nominees seem to be really working so hard for it even though most of them are already what you'd call established designers.
I already posted about my favourite random bit from the last video, Episode 3, with Altuzarra's puppy dressed in his latest winter collection.
Now I am obsessed with this look by Jenna Lyons, creative director of J. Crew, from Episode 4. A couple of months ago I posted about how much I loved her style on my Harper's Bazaar España blog. It's just amazing how she combines classics in such an interesting way. I love the fact that she wears a lot of J. Crew but admits that she 'loves fashion too much to only wear J. Crew'.
Her latest hit is this super cute outfit of mostly J. Crew basics –skinny black jeans, blue oxford shirt and sleeveless denim jacket– mixed up with a camel Comme des Garçons Play cardigan.

A few weeks ago J. Crew announced that they will soon be opening a European online shop. I was thrilled to hear the news because for years I have been painfully looking at their clothes online not being able to buy any. The brand is like a very chic and sophisticated version of the lovechild of Gap and Banana Republic. The clothes are classics and basics very well cut and have a quality that completely justifies the slightly higher prices.
I loved every single piece from their SS11 lookbook including the photography, which is never something remarkable any brand. I love the mix of more serious pieces like a full suit or a cashmere v-neck with the casual white sneakers or the nude silk skirt.
In the meantime, if you can't possibly wait until this glorious moment comes, Net-a-Porter stocks quite a big range of the brand. Alas, us men must wait a little longer to feel (stylishly) whole.
