Best Dressed of the Weekend: The Evening Looks
JustJared
After thinking about it all day yesterday I eventually decided to go for two posts today. It was too hard to cut down the best looks from this   to only three or four. And so I have divided them into day and evening wear. I wanted to start with the latter because three out of four looks are from this weekend's White House Correspondent's Dinner in Washington DC. Had you not known what was going on you might have thought it was the Golden Globes!
Reese Witherspoon, in a stunning Monique Lhuillier, looked more beautiful than ever. I love it when she goes classic because she adds this Southern flair of hers giving the look some old-fashioned glamour. The neckline of the dress was interesting enough for it not to be boring and the turquoise earrings were the perfect touch and they brought out her eyes!
Kate Hudson (actually, Rachel Zoe) went for an amazing purple sequinned Jenny Packham dress. It was totally full-lenth, with a three-quarter sleeve and a slightly open neckline – extremely chic! It was an elegant yet distinctive look for an evening like that. The big chignon was also a great call. I love a woman with her hair up.
Malin Akerman, of whose style I can't say much, also looked incredible in a dress yet to be ID-ed vintage Odicini Couture dress . It was a risky choice of dress because it's hard to find the right length when the hemline goes below the knees but doesn't reach the floor. The front slit, which I loved, helped a lot. As did the wedges she wore with the dress. I just wish a had a cross-legged shot – this dress is screaming for one.
Chloë Moretz wasn't at the White House but I lover her choice of dress. She wore FW12 Kenzo and a pair of my favourite Jimmy Choo sandals, which my sister has as well (funny, no?). I always really like Chloë because she's one of the few teenage celebrities who looks cool and experiments wearing different things but is always age-appropriate. This gets a top grade.

Chloë Moretz covers Interview’s November issue
InterviewNOV11
TFS, JustJared
Interview really had to make a big effort for their latest cover if they wanted to make up for the catastrophic disaster that the Florence Welch cover was last month. And it appears they have.
Chloë Moretz covers the November issue. I couldn't say with certainty if the image is by Craig McDean or Mikael Jansson but either way I love it! I love the super close up crop and how it focuses on Chloë's big eyes and lips. But my favourite thing about it has to be the fact that it looks like a photocopy. It's just like someone at the office got the actual picture and just stuck it into a photocopier. J'adore.
Chloë and her SS12 Kenzo look would have made it onto my Best dressed of the Weekend list had I not ran out of space. I love that she's one of the first ones to wear the collection and this just goes on to prove how genius and foretelling Katie Grand's LOVE covers were!
I don't necessarily love the other people in this issue but Chloë's cover, I'm sure, will make up for that!

What do you think?

TITLE2
CS-CamouflageFirst of all, welcome to Know Wear! I am so excited that it's actually going live today. I have worked on it for many hours and I can't wait to hear what you all have to say about it. Bear with us to complete the transition from soVIPzone. The above menus will be up and running in the over the next week and I have done my best to adapt the old posts to the new layout but I haven't got around to doing all of them yet so don't get grossed out if some look awful.
Now, back to the collage. I remember posting about camouflage last year when Rag & Bone showed a couple of pieces on their FW10 collection. I didn't like it at all then and I still quite dislike what they did with the tricky print now. The reason why I changed my opinion about camouflage altogether is Viviana Volpicella. Her fur-collared jacket worn with purple trousers and Prada's striped shoes really won me over. The fact is that if visionary designers like Miuccia and Junya Watanabe had also shown some pieces that season it was a trend long overdue. It's still hard to pull it off and find the right combination of shapes and colours. I will start by giving it a try with some ASOS shorts this summer, you?
