Get the Look- Miranda Kerr loves Frame Denim

Get the Look: Miranda Kerr loves Frame Denim
JustJared
There isn't a single person in fashion who hasn't written, blogged, tweeted or somehow expressed their fascination for Miranda Kerr's personal style during the last few weeks. The Victoria Secret's angel has been rocking everything from edgy biker jackets and fashion forward skirts to relaxed double denim looks and comfy flats.
Just yesterday, the model took to the streets of New York in one of my favourite looks so far. She paired her signature nude pumps and grey Isabel Marant coat with a super chic pair of Frame Denim skinny jeans. Being the trend setter that she is, Miranda is one of the first to wear this new denim brand, which recently launched on Net-a-Porter and has quickly gained the favour of style references like Dree Hemingway, Anja Rubik or Lara Stone. You can buy Miranda's dark blue jeans here and have a look at the rest of Frame Denim's line here.
Kerr finished off her look with her favourite Miu Miu sunglasses and one of the embroidered Prada bags of the season.

What do you think of Miranda's look?

I can't stop staring at this pictures! The new Prada campaign for their Resort 2013 collection featuring Shasha Pivovarova and shit by Steven Klein is simply stunning. I remember first seeing this collection back in June in Milan when Miuccia showed it together with her menswear SS13 line. I loved the clean lines and the androgynous feel of the entire collection. I'm not happy to see some new pieces including the bejewelled tops, the amazing silver platform pumps and, my favourite, the also bejewelled headband. It's like something Blair Waldorf would wear to go for a jog.

A closer look at Sarah Jessica Parker’s Vogue office in Glee

A closer look at Sarah Jessica Parker’s Vogue office in Glee
The creators of Glee are really pushing the guest stars on the new season of the show. In the three first episodes only we've had a double Kate Hudson cameo (please don't let this be it) and an Sarah Jessica Parker one. Of the latter, we have heard much over the last few months as she plays a Vogue.com editor, something that had to be okay-ed by Anna Wintour, evidently. It was also Anna who chose SJP's clothes for the show – a Faster than Paris tartan dress, which was cool and much after Anna's heart but also something SJP would wear.
The episode is, obviously, not to be missed and even includes a musical number with SJP in it. But I was almost more amazed by her office in the show. Not only it included some amazing furniture but the  set and art direction even included some high fashion props I personally really appreciated. Please note the Hermès tea cup and saucer on the desk close to a purple Prada doctor's bag from the FW12 collection. But my favourite, by a mile, was the Myriam Schaeffer bag lying on the sofa at the back – have they, perhaps, been reading Know Wear? I love it when TV is fashion-forward.

Shoe Porn Friday- Would you wear Prada’s SS13 shoes

Shoe Porn Friday: Would you wear Prada’s SS13 shoes?
Style.com
Every season Prada ends up being all everyone is talking about during Milan Fashion Week and, in the months to follow, they always manage to score an impressive amount of magazine covers. Personally, I think Prada is one of the few brands you can appreciate at first sight but Miuccia's work needs to be digested and thought-about. And, since I don't wear womenswear, I am always up for some well-needed excitement on the catwalk.
The SS13 Prada collection was shown last night in Milan and I have since then read and seen many things about both the clothes – some of the best of the last few years together with SS12 – and the accessories. Everyone is raving about the shoes, for better or worse. I am happy to see the brand break with the line they were going lately and yet these shoes are 100% Prada: the bows we saw in FW10, the flower embellishments in FW12. Miuccia's harajuku girls are going to be a hit!

You can watch the full SS13 Prada show here. And don't miss the brand's FW12 'Real Fantasies' video.

Prada presents their new FW12 campaign video

Prada has done it again. Their new movie campaign for the FW12 is as intriguing as it is stunning. Magdalena Frackowiak and Anne Vyalitsyna are such good front women and they play their part brilliantly. If you thought last season's video was incredible, press play and think again.

Best Dressed of the Weekend- Emma Stone tops it off with Chanel

Best Dressed of the Weekend: Emma Stone tops it off with Chanel
JustJared, Courtesy of Miu Miu
It is incredible that Emma Stone has managed to look spotless and different every time during all the stops on her 'The Amazing Spider-Man' press tour, which isn't over yet. This weekend she topped it off with some fresh-off-the-runway Chanel from the Resort'13 collection. It is just perfect for her and I love that she studded Loubs add an edgy touch.
Zoe Saldana has really made me happy casually wearing some Prabal Gurung Resort'12 paired with Miu Miu's Madras bag. It's just so chic to wear them with ragged denim shorts and flats! But of course, she learnt from experience that Prabal is always a good choice.
Diane Kruger is unstoppable. Do you think she even looks much worse when she rolls out of bed? I don't! This weekend she made an appearance at the Berluti dinner in Paris wearing a sailor-inspired dress and my favourite Givenchy sandals.
I have always thought of Sofia Coppola as a stylish woman but I don't necessarily always like what she wears. I also don't usually love Marc Jacobs but somehow the combination of the two works great here. I love the bee-vibe of the MJ Resort'13 dress. It's a relaxed look but it sure makes a statement.

First Look at Prada Resort 2013

First look at Prada Resort 2013
Style.com, KnowWear
I came back to London last night after spending the most amazing 3 days in Milan for menswear fashion week. And I'm back with so many updates there are even some womenswear posts coming up and an Ed Westwick related one.
Prada was one of my favourite shows from Milan and one of the few that includes women's looks hinting at the feel for the collection that we'll see in September. I was surprised to find the Prada space completely transformed from the vibrant setting of last season to a basic and sterile yet impressive white area.
Apparently, Miuccia wanted to strip her collection off all the decorations, prints, ornate accessories we have been seeing for the past few seasons. For me, this was a very Prada collection because it brought together the subtle nods to sportswear we always see (polo shirts, headbands, their contemporary tailoring, and a certain androgyny. The latte was the key of this collection – a few pieces aside, womens and menswear was one collection. The exception were the fur coats and trimmings that brought it a quirky Prada touch.

Check out my video of the finale below.

You might remember how a few months ago Prada unveiled their 'Parallel Universes' project piece by piece exclusively on 7 different blogs, one of which was Know Wear.

The graphics created for it by Vahram Muratyan were so nice and fun that Prada decided to create a capsule collection of t-shirts featuring all those designs and a few more. The t-shirts will go on sale in mid-July just in time for the summer holidays. It's too bad that's nor a little earlier so that I could wear my favourite – the skyscrapers topped with studded shoes – to Milan Fashion Week this weekend... Some things are worth waiting for, they say.

If you missed it, you can catch up with all the Prada Parallel Universes here. You can even post them on your Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. Which one is your favourite?

First look at Prada’s FW12 Campaign
First look at Prada's FW12 Campaign
Courtesy of Prada
Today Prada has released the first two images from their FW12 advertising campaign shot by Steven Meisel. The "models are arranged in careful poses in the futuristic enclosure, the precise angle of an arm and an elegant neck echoing the geometry of the scene. Shifting camera angles and an endless depth of field create a playful illusion of perspective and proportion, recalling the setting for a videogame." Which actually makes a lot of sense because that is pretty much what their amazing prints for FW12 did to the eye. I am quite excited to see who will be the daring celebrities who will wear Prada's bold prints on the red carpet. You need a lot of personality and a bit of courage to pull these off!

Best Dressed of the Weekend- Jennifer Aniston shines in Burberry

Best Dressed of the Weekend: Jennifer Aniston shines in Burberry
JustJared, Courtesy of Burberry
It hasn't been a particularly exciting weekend in terms of fashion. Thankfully, you can always count on people like Beyoncé and Jennifer Aniston to keep things interesting.
Queen B, who looks like she never carried a baby a few weeks ago, seems to have been taking fashion tips from her sister Solange. She looked incredible in a Surface to Air yellow short suit, which she paired with an also yellow tee, a McQueen clutch and this season's Prada turbo heels.
Jennifer Aniston attended the American Film Institute Gala honouring Shirley Maclaine in a stunning  white crepe evening dress with cutaway back by Burberry. She is looking better than ever, like she's glowing!
Malin Akerman, who already made it into a BDOTW list back in April, is currently on her press tour for 'Rock of Ages'. She is beginning to wear slightly more interesting things but there is still a long way to go. Last night, she slipped into a really nice Marchesa dress for the London premiere of the film. I can't say that I am in love with the dress but there was something interesting about this look. Perhaps it was he fact that it was monochrome, which looks nice with her blonde hair and the pop of colour of the red lips.

Prada presents the new SS12 version of the ‘Hunting bag’

I can already imagine Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger feeling nervous because they don't have this one yet. This month Prada presents the Spring/Summer 2012 version of their 'hunting bag' – featuring a practical flap closure with double fastening in brass-finished metal as well as the classic Prada triangle logo.
The bag has been designed in Saffiano Vernice, a type of leather dyed in one of Italy's most prestigious tanneries. Saffiano leather adds extra depth to colours, is water repellent and virtually scratch resistant! If you own a Prada bag or leather good already you'll know what I'm talking about.
The bags will be available in red, orange, blue, purple and black fom June 2012 in selected European countries, the United Arab Emirates, US and Hong Kong.

TFS
Pastel colours are most definitely in this season! So much so, in fact, that Vogue Japan is very much channeling delicious sugary pastel cupcakes on their July cover starring Daria Werbowy. The Canadian beauty is wearing a pink Prada skirt embroidered with yellow roses and paired with a Prada top, and the brand's famous jewellery from the SS12 collection.
Vogue Japan hasn't had that many hit covers this season apart from the Bianca Balti in Dolce & Gabbana issue back in March. So I am happy to see that they have recreated something as good as the August 2011 cover with Daphne Groenveld in Miu Miu (of course).
I like this cover so much that I am not even bothered by the heaps of text they've featured in it. It feels less heavy because of the soft font colours that work brilliantly with the cover photo by Inez & Vinoodh.

How do you like the cover?

Last night Prada hosted a surprise screening of 'A Therapy' during the Cannes Film Festival. The short film, directed by Roman Polanski and starring Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Kingsley, put a smile on my face. It's hard these days to come across fashion films that don't take themselves too seriously. But of course, we're taking about Prada here: "It's very refreshing to know that there are still places open to the irony and wit and, for sure, Prada is one of them", says Polanski.
'A Therapy' is incredibly chic, full of intense musky colours and features amazing Prada pieces like a purple fur coat and Prada's signature pyramid bag. Not to mention how major it is having Bonham Carter and Kingsley participating.

Best Dressed of the Weekend- It’s all about Jessica Alba!
BDOTW14May
Best Dressed of the Weekend: It's all about Jessica Alba!
JustJared
I am bending the rules of the Best Dressed of the Weekend post a little. I never published last week's because of the Met Ball so I decided to mix it up – only for Jessica Alba. The actress is so beautiful and cool and is not afraid to try different things.
I can't get over how good her monocolour neutral look is – She mixed a few different shades of nude together with white and an ivory hat. There was something tremendously chic and Italian about it. Super classy.
I was also in love with the more professional look including one of this season's main trends: the printed pant. Alba went for a pair by Tory Burch, which she wore with navy pieces and, of course, a biker jacket.
Her airport looks are as impressive. I really like how she created a relaxed black outfit and added a pop of colour with the red biker jacket. And it's exactly that pop of colour – or POP – that had a hint of Brad Goreski then...
Her subtle orange and blue casual look was of my favourites too. The mix of textures was perfect and I thought the mirror shades and Prada tote added a very fun edge to it, non?
And, of course, there was some evening wear as well. The Narciso Rodriguez dress wouldn't have been my cup of tea were it not for the golden Giuseppe Zanotti pumps she paired it with that made the yellow strokes in the dress pop.

Met Ball 2012- The Best Dressed, Part II
MetBall12part2a
Met Ball 2012: The Best Dressed, Part II
Courtesy of Prada, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, JustJared
As I said this morning I couldn't just post about my five favourite looks from this year's Met Ball. Last night I would have sworn I didn't like too many looks but after having a look at images of everyone I missed on the red carpet I changed my mind.
There seemed to be mixed feeling about Kristen Dunst in her Rodarte ensemble. But I loved the fact that it was unlike anything she has worn before and completely different from everyone else. I loved the colour, the cut, the lace detail under the blazer and the belt. It was perfectly styled and she looked ultra cool.
It kind of bothers me that no one ever puts Anna Wintour in the best dressed lists. I utterly adored this lobster Prada gown she wore last night. It was chic and fun and she looked so elegant. I simply love the fact that she always stays true to her style.
Bianca Brandolini went for a gilded Dolce & Gabbana number that obviously shone beautifully under the red carpet lights. This would have been such an exaggerated and over-the-top look on someone else but Bianca is so elegant and classy that she just looks like (fashion) royalty.
I was happy to see January Jones back in shape in an Atelier Versace gown. It has taken her a while to get her mojo back after the pregnancy but she is quickly getting there. The dress had such a different vibe than on the runway and I really liked the turquoise in the necklace, which gave the look a new dimension.

Giovanna Battaglia's Dolce & Gabbana dress put a smile on my face. It was so tremendously Italian and full of character but Gio wore it in such a young and chic way. And the braid and flower headband were such a great call!
Rooney Mara looked her edgy-meets-rocky-chic usual self. I guess none of us doubted she was going to wear Givenchy. I just wished she would have gone for a bit more drama or a different colour. But I loved the combination of lace and leather, Riccardo.
Cara Delevingne was one of the most fashion-forward attendees. I couldn't have loved her velvet Burberry dress any more. It was a stunning shape and I loved the detail of the collar and the studded Burberry gloves. How unfair is it that she gets to look so great wearing next season's clothes?

The Metropolitan Museum still hasn't opened their latest Schiaparelli and Prada exhibition to the public yet. Everyone will be able to enjoy it from this Thursday 10th. This means only those fabulous people dressed to the nines last night have been able to see it so far!
I haven't had the chance to see any of the exhibitions, which makes me upset if I think about it – especially McQueen's last year. But I am also super interested in finding out this so-called conversation between Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli.
The lovely people from Prada have kindly sent over a preview of the exhibition before it opens this week. I would love to go through those years and years of incredible Prada creations...!
I am also excited about the news that Schiaparelli is being brought back to life in 2013. The famous philanthrope and fashion mogul Diego Della Valle, owner of the Tod's Group, has acquired the brand and is putting it back on the fashion panorama!

I was so excited to be able to watch the Met Ball red carpet live online! It was a brilliant and very intertaining experience thanks to the shouting photographers. It's been hard to cut it down to a top 5 (there will be a part 2 coming up later today) but these are my favourites this year.
Gwyneth Paltrow wore a short Prada, which I love not only because she looked incredibly hot and radiant in it but because a super short number is always daring for an evening occasion like this. I appreciate her courage.
Some of the same goes for Kate Bosworth who also wore Prada. What's interesting is this ombré feather dress would have looked very plain on anyone else but Kate choice of hair and make up give it a slick and slightly 20's vibe that was super sophisticated.
I was absolutely in love with Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe. It's the first time Rach has taken a model date in her design and what a way to kick it off! It was like being transported to the Hollywood of the 50's. It was such a glamorous look and so different from everyone else.
I can't even say how happy I was to see Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry. The stripped gown with long sleeves and the embellished neckline was so elegant. It is amazing to think how innovative the materials that Christopher Bailey uses are and how they can work so well with a Sofia Loren hairdo. Stunning.
Diane Kruger was also one of the bravest girls of the night. Her purple Prada gown played with the combination of black tie and casual clothing. I just loved the effect of the low strappy top as it transforms into a tray finishing off with feathers. She is incredible.

Best Dressed of the Weekend- The Day Looks
BDOTWday30Apr
Best Dressed of the Weekend: The Day Looks
JustJared
I always tend to find 'casual' celebrity style a bit more interesting than what they wear on the red carpet. I think it's because it feels somewhat less calculated. This week there is quite a mix of styles in this respect.
Kim Kardashian is looking great lately. I feel like Kanye is giving her advice on what to wear and how to wear it. She's been wearing simpler outfits and looking more... natural. I am loving this all-black look, especially the mixture of textures and the open-front leather boots. The chignon, cat-eye sunnies and the chunky chain necklace add a great rock touch.
Mila Kunis, who I haven't been seeing around for a while, was looking great at CinemaCon. The basic tee and jeans look super chic with the peep-toe pumps and the cropped white tux jacket.
Jessica Alba is always of my favourites on and off the red carpet. She has such a ease to wear things and look young and elegant. This time she wore black cuffed slacks with chic patent leather black pumps, her favourite Prada bag, a sheer black blazer and added a pop of colour (so on trend!) with a muted fluoro top.

Vote for your favourite below!
