I would have usually posted about this on Fashion, Frankly but seeing as Ed Westwick is appreciated for men and women I thought no one would complain if I posted them here. Ed is the new face of the Philipp Plein FW12 campaign, shot by Terry Richardson. I'm glad to see him working with a cool rock'n'roll brand. We see enough of him in dapper suits on Gossip Girl. It's refreshing seeing him in jeans, t-shirts and lether jackets – especial mention to the croc leather jacket, I love it! I am also quite excited because this season I'm going to my first Philipp Plein show in Milan next weekend. I know his shows are really fun and full of energy. And, who knows, maybe Ed will even be there and we'll get to talking and become best mates and jet around the world in designer suits charming ladies. Never say never (!). We're quickly approaching the SS12 season. I don't know if you have already started making a mental list of all the new additions your wardrobe needs for the spring, I know I have. My first buys for every season are always from the high street in late January/early February –I always end up in new season when I hit the sales. I guess the high street brands can smell our anxiety to put on lighter ensembles, which is why they have started to release their spring/summer campaigns. One of the first ones is Mango. I must admit that together with Zara it's one my absolute go-to shops. They're great for classics and dresses for any occasion. For the new season Mango has teamed up with Kate Moss for a super cool and sexy campaign shot by Terry Richardson. If after watching the video there aren't at least three or four pieces you want to have you are not human. I've been really uninspired to blog for the past couple of days. I suppose there is always something to post about but I couldn't be bothered. Still now, as I'm writing this, I couldn't think of many other things I'd like to write about.

However, I did want to share these pictures with you. I was going through Terry Richardson's diary and found these pretty recent shots of Mary-Kate and Ashley. Needless to say, I am in love with the picture at the top, which is already my laptop wallpaper. I don't know what it is about Terry's shots of people against a white background that makes everyone look so cool, no that the Olsens need any help being cool.

Also randomly surfing the web I came across this super cool armadillo handbag from Rokit. I'm not usually much into quirky fashion accessories but I love this bag. It seems perfect for the summer with some denim shorts and a basic tee. Also, it looks like the kind of thing MK would love to wear, no?

Plus size who?

Yesterday evening I did my usual catching up with the upcoming international magazines. This is kind of an odd hobby of mine because I hate seeing editorials before I have them on paper before me but I am very keen on knowing what's going on in the industry. After spending the longest time looking at what Vogue Italia have done for November (amazing editorials and very neat cover!) I came across the latest Harper's Bazaar US. Christina Hendricks covers their November issue looking stunning in a red Michael Kors. The shoot inside, by Terry Richardson, is quite commercial but still very him —aka: raunchy. But the thing that caught my attention wasn't so much Richardson's recurring themes but what people were saying about them. In short, some people called out the stylist alleging Hendrick's curves make it hard for her to look good in something. It baffles me how we still have to read and hear such things in this day and age. As an avid Mad Men spectator I can honestly say I find Christina just as attractive and beautiful as January Jones. Not to mention it is ever so refreshing to see a curvaceous, real, woman covering a top fashion magazine. I could turn this post into an essay but I have no intention of boring anyone. I do, however, encourage all of you to read the story that accompanies the shoot. (And, for the record, I did love her at the Emmys!)

The video from the shoot is even more stunning than the final result. There is something so suggestive and clever about her eyes!
