soVIPzone in Flair magazine

A few months back, while I was on a trip around Tuscany with my flatmate, I was contacted by Flair magazine. They wanted to run a feature about me as a blogger and about my experience on soVIPzone. I was, of course, extremely flattered and even more excited! And just as excited I got when I first saw this image below including my picture and the feature. This time I am here for a quick update to ask for your prayers. Christopher (my Mac) had a little accident with water a few days ago and now it will not work. The doctors at the Apple Store were very mean and did not have any encouraging words for us, we have an appointment tomorrow. So, please, pray for us.

SUMMER chillin'

Sorry for the luck of updates lately. I am on holiday in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands, Spain) since last Saturday and haven't been able to get myself to update. I will be back home very soon and I am coming up with new ideas to turn into future posts. Comments will also be answered then, but thank you so much to those of you commenting even with the lack of activity around here.

I know, soVIPzone has been dead for over a week without warning. To those of you who visit it often for updates, I am sorry! School has been an even bigger pain the the butt and I haven't been able to update at all. However, this situation changes, starting today. I'm glad to inform y'all that SHE is finally BACK!! Miss Britney Spears will perform at the 2007 Video Music Awards!



If you happen to own a computer, then chances are you've come across online rumblings regarding the bald-no-more Britney Spears: The pop star will make her comeback at this year's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Well, it's no rumor, folks.

MTV News can now confirm what may well be one of the worst-kept VMA secrets of all time: On Sunday night, Spears will grace the VMA stage, nestled within the Palms Casino Resorts' Pearl Concert Theater, to perform "Gimme More," the first single from her forthcoming fifth album, which is slated for a November 13 release (see "Britney Spears' Greatest VMA Hits: Barely There Costumes, Giant Snakes And A Scandalous Lip-Lock"). The yet-untitled effort will be her first studio LP in four years, following 2003's In the Zone.

Perhaps in homage to the glittery magic of Las Vegas, Spears consulted with illusionist Criss Angel, star of A&E's "Mindfreak," on "some of the moments of the performance," said Jesse Ignjatovic, the executive producer of this year's VMAs. Spears has been spotted around Sin City in recent weeks with Angel at her side, and there is unsubstantiated speculation that the two are romantically involved.

Ignjatovic said it was important to secure Spears for the big show's opening number.

"I guess, looking back, we've had a great history with her," he said. "Some of the biggest TV performances [of her career] have been at the VMAs. And fortunately, [when we approached her about performing], she was into it and excited to do it. I wanted her to come on and make a statement right from the very beginning of the show. And she'll kill it. I wanted to start the show in a very big and dramatic way, and she's the one to do that. She'll captivate everyone, and set the tone for the rest of the night. There's no one better."

As for what we can expect from Ms. Spears, Ignjatovic wouldn't give up the goods, but promised fans would be thrilled.

"You can expect the things we want and expect from Britney — that will all be there," he said. "What I've seen of it is great. She'll be dancing, performing, doing her thing. That's exactly what we all want. Fans that are familiar with her performance on previous VMAs will not be disappointed."

Fall/Winter 2007

September is about to knock at our doors and so I think it's about time I start my Fall/Winter reviews and specials. To begin the beginning I'm preparing the first compilation special of the season. It will feature my favourite outfits from the best Fall collections of 2007. The favourite specials will be divided in four different parts; two of them will take you the greatest enmbles for women and men created by the top designers, and the following two will include the hottest accessories of the season.
Remember to stay tunned for them and for the Winter reviews to look fabulous in the chicest time of the year.

fresh, tanned and BACK!

I'm back!
Your soVIP blogger is back from vacation in Greece. It is a beautiful country indeed. And there's a lot of glamour flowing around.
Two days in HOT Athens were followed by six in Santorini, an island of the Gods (Armani wasn't there, though). The whole experience has been pretty amazing, I have to say.




And now I'm fresh and ready to kick butt with the coolest new updates. A new project of mine is on the way, only this one will take longer and so I cannot foretell when it will be out. One way or another, stay tunned for more updates in the meantime.

an ISLAND in the sun

This time I come with no aim of updating soVIPzone with a hot new fashion discovery. Today I'm leaving on vacation; a well-deserved one I would dare to say. I'll be unable of updating your coolness source for 10 days, until August 11th.
I'm going to Santorini, a little island in Greece. I'm so excited.


"Santorini (Greek Σαντορίνη, IPA: ˌsa(n)do̞ˈrini) is a small, circular archipelago of volcanic islands located in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 km south-east from Greece's mainland. It is also known as Thera (or Thira, Greek Θήρα, IPA: ˈθira). It is the southernmost member of the Cyclades group of islands, with an area of approximately 73 km² (28 mi²), and in 2001 had an estimated population of 13,600. Santorini is essentially what has been left from an enormous volcanic explosion which destroyed the earliest settlements thereon and led to the creation of the current geological caldera. Its spectacular natural beauty along with its eminent nightlife make the island one of Europe's top tourist hotspots.
A giant central lagoon, more or less rectangular and measuring about 12 km by 7 km (8 mi by 4 mi), is surrounded by 300 m (984 ft) high, steep cliffs on three sides. The island slopes downward from the cliffs to the surrounding Aegean Sea. On the fourth side, the lagoon is separated from the sea by another much smaller island called Therasia. The lagoon merges with the sea in two places, in the northwest and southwest. The water in the centre of the lagoon is nearly 400 m (1,300 ft) deep, thus being a safe harbour for all kinds of ships. The island's harbors are all in the lagoon and there are no ports on the outer perimeter of the island. The island's capital, Fira, clings to the top of the cliff looking down on the lagoon."

time FLIES

After weeks of postponig it, I can proudly say that my first very own project will come to the light this coming week. I cannot though tell you about the exact day, so you should keep checking back for my freshest piece of work.
As much as I'd like to give out about it, I wish it to be a rather exciting surprise for all of you and that is why no hint will be given out until the day has come. Excitement is more in me than into anybody else, that is for sure, as I'm finishing the last details to what will soon be my debut as photographer. As some of you may have already read on my fotolog, this coming project will feature my sister as the model. We tried to do something new and interesting but trying not to jeopardice fun, and I can say we quite achieved our goals on this matter.
Anyway, this is as much as you'll sneak before the whole project premiers on soVIPzone.
